Slow Cooker Scalloped Potatoes with Chicken Sausage
Using condensed soup and slices of First Fresh Hot Italian Chicken Sausage make this a quick and easy dish to prepare in the morning, throw in your slow cooker, and dinner's ready when you get home from work!
- Cook First Fresh Chicken Sausage in a large skillet over medium heat with a tablespoon of olive oil. Allow to cool, and then slice into ½ inch rounds.
- In a 3 1/2- to 5-quart slow cooker, layer about 1/3 of the potatoes, 1/3 of the sausage, 1/3 of the onion and 1/3 of the cheddar cheese soup. Repeat layers two more times.
- Top with the cream of celery soup; cover and cook on LOW for 8 to 10 hours or on HIGH for 4 to 5 hours. Enjoy!
